Zsa Zsa Gabor Breaks Hip In Fall, To Have Surgery

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Singer Zsa Zsa Gabor, now in her 90s, has damaged her hip and will need operation to reinstate it, her representative pronounced on Sunday.

Gabor, who uses a wheelchair to get around after a 2002 car accident, was examination radio in bed on Saturday night when she fell out whilst reaching to answer the phone, representative John Blanchette said.

The Hungarian-born actress, well known for her 9 marriages and job everybody "Darling," is at a sanatorium in west Los Angeles and will bear hip operation on Monday, Blanchette said.

Gabor, now tied together to Prince Frederic von Anhalt, starred in such drive-in theatre as "Moulin Rouge," "Lili" and "Touch of Evil," and was one of 3 glamorous sisters who stole the Hollywood limelight in the 1950s and 1960s. She was innate in between 1917 and 1919, according to estimates by Hollywood journalists.

Von Anhalt had described the incident after Gabor's tumble as "very bad" on Saturday night, Blanchette said, adding, "But she's a fighter."
