Angelina Jolie Leads Horde Of Kickass Women

Angelina! Scarlett! Milla! Girl energy was in full force this week end at Comic-Con, what with all of the extreme females who graced the geekfest to uncover fans which kicking ass isn't only for the guys.

Leading the assign on Thursday was Angelina Jolie, who brought her new spy thriller, Salt, in which she shoots and fights her way by an unconstrained route of baddies.

But Angie's a-Salt on Comic-Con was only the initial call of consternation women at this year's San Diego event.

Olivia Wilde pulled stand in duty, display up initial with TRON: Legacy, in which she plays a sleek, learned "program" in a skintight fit and four-inch heels. A few days after she was behind to one side Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and 007 (Daniel Craig) with a preview of Jon Favreau's sci-fi Western, Cowboys and Aliens.

Genre black Milla Jovovich and preggers costar Ali Larter returned to Comic-Con to uncover footage from Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Afterlife, a supplement shot in 3-D which promises to have zombies, ninja stars, and Jovovich and Larter zooming right off the shade and in to our laps.

After leveling bad guys left and right as Hit Girl in this year's Kick-Ass, 13-year-old Chloe Moretz showed a softer—but still dangerous—side in a hide look at Let Me In, Matt Reeves' English denunciation reconstitute of the Swedish kiddie evil spirit flick.

But no singular row wielded some-more overwhelming bad-girl energy than the display of Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, which brought out stars Emily Browning, Carla Gugino, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung and Vanessa Hudgens (who says bye-bye to her squeaky purify High School Musical persona by personification a gun-toting impression declared Blondie).  

The Sucker Punch trailer had all a partner of grrl-power movement flicks could ever want: Girls with samurai swords! Guns! Explosions! Dragon-fighting! Burlesque! The Hall H assembly was so blown divided which Snyder played the trailer twice.

Saturday brought a few some-more big names and destiny superheroines to the Con, starting with Green Lantern singer Blake Lively. Wearing a cleavage-tastic dress, Sharp-witted had the fanboys enraptured and eager about her impression Carol Ferris, who will in the future turn the supervillainess Star Sapphire if Green Lantern gets sequels. Ryan Reynolds, who stars as the suggested superhero, competence have to say with Sharp-witted left bad—and she couldn't be some-more vehement about it. "I can't wait for to flog his ass," she laughed.

Last but not least, Reynolds' real-life wife, Scarlett Johansson, done a warn coming at the big Marvel panel, where she assimilated associate Avengers castmates to acquire Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo in to the fold. Expect to see most some-more of Johansson as Black Widow when the Joss Whedon-directed superhero film hits theaters.
